Industries We Serve

Screens designed for the way your space is used, delivered with precision.

Our Video Installation Process

One display or a 59-foot wall, the sequence is the same, and every panel is calibrated before handover.

Ceiling-mounted projectors installed by DIST at 3 Times Square
  1. Site survey

We measure the wall, viewing distances, ambient light, structure, power and the route equipment takes into the building.

  2. Design & mockups

Display selection, pixel pitch, mounting and signal flow, with renderings so you see the size on your wall before you buy.

  3. Structure & rough-in

Backing, power and cabling coordinated with your GC while walls are open, so the install day is clean.

  4. Installation

Mounting, alignment and seam calibration done by our crews, after hours in occupied spaces.

  5. Calibration & content

Color and brightness calibrated across every panel, processors and players configured, and your content loaded.

  6. Training & support

Your team learns to change content and sources, then our help desk and remote monitoring take it from there.

Video Wall Support & Maintenance

DIST monitors enrolled displays remotely, keeps a help desk answering 24/7 and sends engineers on site to replace modules and recalibrate walls.

  • Remote monitoring of displays and players
  • Preventive maintenance and panel calibration
  • Spare modules and fast panel replacement
  • Firmware and security updates
  • Support for systems installed by other integrators

Video wall & display questions

Cost, technology and timelines, answered.

How much does a video wall cost?

It depends on the size, the technology (direct-view LED or LCD), pixel pitch and how much structure and power the wall needs. After a site survey we send a fixed, itemized proposal with options so you can compare sizes and resolutions line by line.

LED or LCD video wall: which should I choose?

Direct-view LED has no seams, goes very large and gets bright enough for lobbies and windows. LCD walls cost less for smaller sizes and close viewing, but have thin seams between panels. We recommend based on the room, viewing distance and budget.

What pixel pitch do I need?

As a rule of thumb, the closer people stand, the finer the pitch you need. We size pixel pitch to the nearest typical viewing distance so the image looks sharp without paying for resolution nobody can see.

How long does a video wall installation take?

Smaller walls are often installed and calibrated in a few days once equipment is on site. Large LED walls that need structure and power usually take one to several weeks, scheduled around construction.

Can you manage content across multiple locations?

Yes. We set up cloud-based digital signage so your team can schedule and update content on every screen, in every location, from one dashboard.

Do you install projectors and projection screens?

Yes. We install laser projectors, motorized screens and lifts for training rooms, auditoriums and venues, as well as projection mapping for events.

Can you send one source to many TVs, like in a sports bar?

Yes. Matrix switching or AV-over-IP lets you put any source on any screen, controlled from a touch panel or tablet, like the system we built for State of Play in New York.

Do you offer support after installation?

Yes. Our help desk answers 24/7, enrolled displays are monitored remotely, and our field engineers handle on-site service, including panel replacement.

Where do you install video systems?

Nationwide. We handle single sites and multi-site rollouts across the United States.

Planning a video wall or new displays?

Tell us the space, the screens you have in mind and the timeline. A DIST engineer will survey the site, then come back with a design, a schedule and a number.
